Bev is an Occupational Therapist with a passion for enhancing community engagement for individuals of all abilities, with a special focus on partnering with individuals with developmental disabilities. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Temple University. Bev returned to Temple and received her Clinical Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy in May of 2016, along with a Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Temple University Fox School of Business.


Bev has over two decades of experience in service delivery, research, training, and program development. Bev is passionate about helping individuals who are often the recipients of assistance assume leadership roles as providers of service to their communities. She has partnered with corporations and local, national, and international non-profit organizations to create innovative opportunities for individuals of all abilities to build social capital and community connection. Bev received the Pediatric Therapeutic Services Therapist 5000 Award in 2014 for “Staying Power,” an innovative school-based program designed to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration. She received the Temple University Helen Hopkins Scholarship Award in 2015 and the Child Development Foundation Dr. Thomas J. Natoli Award in 2018.


Bev created Integrate for Good, an innovative initiative designed to expand opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to contribute their time and talent through civic engagement, and became the founding Project Director in July, 2017. Bev’s current work focuses on building strategic partnerships to enhance authentic community engagement for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism through collaboration with individuals and families, school districts, agencies, government entities and nonprofit organizations.
