Misty Gibbons is the Senior Outreach Manager for Walker-Miller Energy Services. Walker-Miller is a minority and woman-owned, Detroit-based company dedicated to changing lives through energy efficiency. The firm helps electric and gas utilities achieve mandated energy reduction goals through energy waste, creating local jobs, decrease the energy burden on families, and harmful greenhouse gases.
Misty entered the energy industry in 2013 and has recently relocated from Illinois to Pennsylvania now working with the utility company PECO. Through this opportunity, Misty is responsible for managing the PECO Energy Force Ambassador Program. A program that partners with nonprofit organizations to train adults with developmental disabilities to serve as ambassadors for PECO’s Energy Efficiency Initiatives. Through this opportunity, Misty has been able to tap into her love for helping underserved individuals and communities.
Misty grew up in a small town, Kennett, MO. She is the mother of two adult children and one fur baby. Misty lives with her husband in Delaware but if very active in the Philadelphia area helping with community initiatives. Misty enjoys shopping, traveling, attending church on Sundays, & spending time with her family.
