A vision has officially become a reality.
The Free Little Library in Collegeville designed and built by our Spring 2026 Leadership Incubator cohort is now proudly installed outside Integrate for Good and open to the entire community. Since its installation, neighbors, families, and visitors have already stopped to admire it, browse the shelves, and participate by taking and leaving books.
This project was far more than simply building a library. Throughout the process, participants learned how to plan a community project from start to finish. They worked together to develop blueprints, gather materials, assign responsibilities, solve unexpected challenges, and safely construct the library using real tools and building techniques. Along the way, they strengthened essential leadership skills such as communication, collaboration, problem-solving, time management, and perseverance.
What began as an idea became a meaningful community resource because of their dedication and hard work. Every book shared, every conversation sparked, and every person who visits the library is experiencing the impact of the skills these participants developed and the care they invested in creating something for others.
This project is a powerful reminder that leadership is about creating opportunities that benefit an entire community. The Spring 2026 Leadership Incubator cohort didn’t just complete a project—they created a legacy. Their work will continue to inspire literacy, encourage community connection, and serve others for years to come, leaving a lasting mark on Integrate for Good and demonstrating the incredible abilities of our participants.
