The Impact of Ursinus

Some of our favorite moments lately have come from the simplest parts of campus life. Walking to lunch turned into something unexpectedly special when Ursinus brought a farm to campus and set up a petting zoo for everyone to enjoy. Of course, we couldn’t pass that up. Blythe and Gabby made sure we joined in with the rest of the college community. From feeding the animals to just taking a break and being present, it was one of those experiences that reminds you how much our new home has already shaped our programming and everyday life.

Socialization is such a critical need for everyone, and for the individuals that we serve, it isn’t always the easiest to access. Ursinus not only provides us with a new and vibrant location, it provides us with a community. We have friends that we see on campus, and we meet new people every day by being able to tap into these exciting community events. A normal walk to lunch turned into something that would’ve taken months to previously plan for us.

Grateful for these moments, the sense of community, and all the little things that make Ursinus feel like home for IFG.
