Giving Back Together on MLK Day
When I woke up to more snow and ice this morning, I wasn’t sure if people would turn out… but our community showed up!
I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who joined Integrate for Good today to commemorate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through service and community action.
Dr. King reminded us that lasting change comes when we choose courage, compassion, and justice and when we show up for one another with love and purpose. Today was a beautiful example of that, and my heart is so full.
A huge thank you to Ursinus College for partnering with us and welcoming more than 75 volunteers on a cold and snowy day
What made it even more special was seeing who showed up. Volunteers ranged from ages 4 to 74, including student athletes, people of all abilities, families, community leaders, and so many others who came ready to help.
Today was not a day off. It was a day on. A reminder that kindness, justice, equity, and inclusion are what make our community and our country great.
We believe every day is a day to honor Dr. King through action. If you want to get involved in fun and impactful ways, visit our Volunteer & Committee page and see how you can make a difference.
