Jackson’s Impact Story

Jackson’s journey with Integrate for Good is a testament to the power of belonging, mentorship, and the courage to step into one’s potential. Now a confident student at Villanova University, he continues to take on new challenges with purpose and determination.

As a teaching assistant in Leadership Incubator and a speaker on neurodiversity at Giant, Jackson discovered something invaluable: his voice. But the true measure of his growth became clear during his opening weekend at Villanova. During a service for first-year students and their families, a call went out for a volunteer to lead a prayer. Silence filled the room—until Jackson raised his hand. His heartfelt words moved many to tears. For his father, it was an unforgettable moment, a reflection of Jackson’s newfound confidence. He credits Leadership Incubator and the Integrate for Good community for igniting that transformation, showing Jackson that his abilities are not just seen—they are celebrated.

Jackson’s leadership didn’t stop there. Soon after, he spoke at our ribbon-cutting event, sharing how Integrate for Good helped him prepare for college. His words resonated deeply, even capturing the attention of the press. A reporter, who rarely covered disability-related stories, took the time to ensure respectful language and authentic representation—proof that visibility changes narratives, and voices like Jackson’s have the power to shift perceptions.

When asked how his life would be different without Integrate for Good, Jackson answered without hesitation:

“I would not have been able to experience leadership and friendships that will help me the rest of my life. I would not have been able to do so well at my college program at Villanova without their help and support. I know I’m always welcome and appreciated for who I am.”

Jackson’s story is a powerful reminder that true empowerment comes from being seen, supported, and challenged to rise. Spaces like Integrate for Good don’t just nurture confidence—they ignite potential. Because leadership isn’t about waiting for the right moment; it’s about stepping forward, even when the room is silent.
