BRENNAN CARTER
Hello! My name is Brennan Carter, and I’m a proud graduate of Cheltenham High School. I am passionate about learning new things, especially when it comes to technology, creativity, and working as part of a team. I enjoy being part of supportive, inclusive communities where everyone is encouraged to grow and succeed. I’m excited to share my strengths, interests, and goals. I hope to find a part-time job that involves interacting with others and using technology.
ABOUT ME
I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new ideas by asking thoughtful questions and having meaningful conversations. Building connections is important to me—I love getting to know others by learning about their interests, values, and what inspires them. In my free time, I enjoy using my laptop to explore new topics, solve problems, and turn creative ideas into real projects. Whether I’m researching something new, designing something fun, or working on a challenge, I use my curiosity and creativity to keep learning and growing every day.
EDUCATION HISTORY
After graduating from Cheltenham High School, I began participating in programs at Integrate for Good, where I’ve continued to grow and strengthen my leadership skills while becoming more active in my community. These programs include:
• Leadership Incubator 1 & 2 – Developed leadership skills and explored ways to make a meaningful impact in my community based on my interests and strengths.
• Empowerment Lab: Discovered my potential, built confidence and life skills, and formed stronger connections within my community.
• Executive Functioning Skills: Strengthened key executive functioning abilities such as organization, planning, and focus to support success in work, daily life, and community involvement.
• Create Access Program: Participated in a 3D digital creation workshop, learning to use design tools to express creativity and problem-solve through technology.
• Technology & Digital Literacy: Gained essential digital skills for navigating technology confidently and safely, including online communication, internet safety, and productivity tools
VOLUNTEER/WORK HISTORY
While attending Cheltenham High School, I gained hands-on experience in the community, building valuable skills and exploring a variety of job roles:
• Kindred Hospice – Performed clerical tasks, including researching and organizing physician license records with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Elmwood Park Zoo – Assisted with animal care and supported guest services by keeping café seating areas clean and welcoming.
• ShopRite – Managed restocking of returned items, maintaining order and efficiency in the store’s inventory system.
• Foulkeways Senior Community – Helped with laundry operations and facility upkeep to ensure a clean, comfortable environment for residents.
• Montgomery County Intermediate Unit Café – Served as a barista, preparing beverages and delivering friendly, reliable customer service in a team-focused setting.
STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS

I learn best through a hands-on approach and visual demonstrations, which help me clearly understand new tasks and build confidence.

When learning something new, I may need occasional reminders or step-by-step prompts. Once I feel confident, I can complete the task independently and consistently.

I do my best work when I have extra time to focus and complete tasks at a steady, thoughtful pace without feeling rushed.

I thrive in environments with few distractions where I can work alongside one person or within a small group, allowing for better focus and collaboration.
INTERESTS
- I enjoy meeting new people and connecting with others—I’m a very social person who loves being part of a community.
- I have a passion for music and art. I especially enjoy listening to different styles of music and expressing myself through drawing.
- I’m confident using computers and enjoy learning new technology skills, solving problems, and working on creative digital projects.
- I love spending time with my friends, especially when we go to the movies or bowling—sharing fun experiences and making great memories together.
